Laotian Village Life in Nong Khiaw

Although a bit late in writing about it, there's a lovely place where we spent more than 2 weeks and is surely worth mentioning. Nong Khiaw is a small village in Laos that has some really nice landscapes nearby. While frequented by tourists, most of them move on after a night or two and so our lingering presence there has been somewhat intriguing to a few of the villagers who noted us. It's not easy, after all, to distinguish one foreigner from the other, we all look the same you know...

The following pictures would show a few of the things we liked in Nong Khiaw
Fried Bamboo in a homey family restaurant

Fried bamboo is yuuuummmy ;)

Who said rice has to be boring?
